Defense

Support for the DoD warfighter.  For many Suntiva employees, this has been the focus of their entire career – and Suntiva is proud of its continuing efforts to support and strengthen our national defense.

As described in the most recent Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR), the strategy and priorities for DoD have shifted significantly.  The Department has launched numerous initiatives to rebalance U.S. military capabilities, with a particular focus on force flexibility, combined with key strategic investments in people, process, and technology.  Today’s military must continue to address the war on terror and support civil authorities at home, while also working to deter future conflict.  These goals will require investment on many fronts, from the relationships with our partners and allies to human capital and various new technologies.

Suntiva currently supports all branches of the military – the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Defense Agencies – with a wide range of services and capabilities that are core components of our overall business.  And, we support clients at all levels, including senior executives, acquisition managers, program managers, and technologists.  Examples of our work include:

  • Acquisition, Engineering, and Program Management support for the Army, for clients such as the Army’s National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), and the Army Corps of Engineers, where we have engineering, acquisition, and program management staff in several locations across the U.S.;
  • Acquisition and contract management support services for the Air Force at several locations, to include strategic sourcing initiatives and full contract lifecycle support;
  • Acquisition strategy, training, and procurement automation support for variousNavy commands;
  • Business intelligence (BI), knowledge management, and procurement support and administration services for various Defense Agencies including the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and Washington Headquarters Service (WHS).
