IT Service Management / ITIL Consulting
Improving Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) is a broad challenge facing CIOs of large enterprises, from government agencies to Fortune 500 companies.
Suntiva’s unique approach to the IT assessment model analyzes not just the current processes and infrastructure – where most other consultants stop -- but goes beyond this to include the people involved in their operation. By examining both, Company experts ensure that the assessment analyzes human factors such as collaboration, team effectiveness, and relationships with stakeholders. Utilizing confidential interviews in the assessment phase allows Suntiva to develop themes across the organization and identify the natural human resistance to change. Suntiva believes that by anticipating and proactively dealing with people and organizational issues, the assessment and resulting process improvements have a significantly increased chance of success in a reduced timeframe.

Healthcare IT Strategy and Implementation
Healthcare IT has been at the forefront of the government’s and provider’s plans to reduce costs in the nation’s healthcare system. As a result of the ARRA/HITECH stimulus funding, there is urgency and opportunity for jump starting healthcare related IT initiatives at federal agencies, state governments and providers. However, much confusion exists. Suntiva leverages our deep knowledge in governance, EHR technologies and organizational performance and by using a vendor-agnostic approach, we help state HIT coordinators understand HITECH requirements, bring alignment to disjointed stakeholders and evaluate EHR technologies that best fit your state’s needs. Our strategy takes into account the diverse players such as hospitals, CMS, Medicaid, state agencies, IT providers, etc. providing guidance to ensure all parties efficiently work together.
IT Transition Services
Transition occurs when moving from one outsourcing vendor to another, from organizational change, from technology change, or from a strategy change, to name a few examples. Suntiva has the expertise to do the careful planning and program management required for successful transitions. But even when carefully planned and executed, IT transition projects can fail because of people, communications, and organizational issues rather than technology or business issues. Our IT Transition Service includes organizational, team, and individual focus based on behavioral science to take human factors into account. We then provide a comprehensive strategy to assess and deliver change that sticks.
IT Strategy
Success in IT organizations cannot be attained without a comprehensive, thoughtful and forward-thinking strategy. This strategy must take into account the interests of all stakeholders while purposefully aligning with the overall business goals of the organization. In implementing the strategy, leaders must clearly communicate the benefits to all stakeholders and take into account potential barriers. Successful execution requires buy-in and collaboration from teams and individuals throughout the organization. Suntiva consultants have a deep understanding of how to maximize both individual and organizational performance, with a special emphasis on IT best practices and how to focus on long term success. We provide a roadmap for continual improvement with the option for ongoing coaching to ensure everyone meets their full potential.
