JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Marketing Support Specialist will provide specific expertise in effectively creating and delivering a broad range of marketing materials and managing deadlines for marketing related projects. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Marketing Materials. Responsible for creating internal and external communications - draft, write, edit, proof, and prepare marketing materials, including: Award Submittals, Brochures and other Collateral, Project Profiles, Website Content, and Newsletters. Support Subject Matter Experts in developing abstracts and presentation materials for conference participation. Develop basic graphics.
- Project Coordination. Support Marketing Director to maintain list of conferences, awards, and events, and manage the company’s involvement with local and national industry conferences. Coordinate outgoing corporate newsletters and events (e.g., webinar sessions), including invitations, sign-ups and event management. Explore incorporating social media into company’s outreach efforts.
- Market Research and Information Management. Develop, maintain and update information in databases and information used in marketing materials. Research and Implement other specific BD initiatives under the guidance of the Business Development Director. Complete searches, track leads, and gather information for upcoming opportunities in FedSources/FedBizOpps.
- Proposal Support. Work with technical teams to ensure material is on message and appropriately targeted. Collaborate in the preparation of information and materials for submittals, requests for information, and proposals. Support the preparation of qualification packages, tailored resumes, responses and presentations to selected RFQs and RFPs. Provide configuration control of all proposal documentation.
- Knowledge Base. Implement and maintain a web-based marketing and proposal library (using the SharePoint collaboration tool).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship building capabilities, experience working in a fast paced organization during a period of rapid growth, and a proven track record of success in implementing marketing solutions. This position will be based in Falls Church, VA. Specific requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in English, Marketing, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience as marketing coordinator/marketing researcher in a professional services firm, preferably in government-related consulting;
- have experience using the following computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Must be able to coordinate projects, events and submission deadlines [i.e. workshops, conference attendance];
- Strong project management skills. Ability to set objectives, manage multiple priorities, organize time and identify resources for individual and group projects;
- Must have excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to express ideas, thoughts, and concepts clearly and concisely;
- Need to have energetic, positive attitude, with proven ability to respond to multiple deadlines. Individual should be punctual, reliable, accurate, and detail-oriented.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with implementing social networking techniques is highly desirable;
- Strong consideration will be given to those that have experience using applications such as; Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator.

SEnior Acquisition Analyst
Suntiva is seeking a talented Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our team in the National Capital Region. Senior Acquisition and Procurement Policy Analyst
Suntiva’s Acquisition Consulting Division (SAC) provides specialized support across the entire acquisition life cycle, with particular emphasis on acquisition strategy and planning, contracting support services, acquisition and procurement policy support, and acquisition knowledge management. SAC is seeking a senior acquisition and procurement Policy Analyst to support a client in the National Capital Region. This is a salaried, full-time position with compensation based on education, qualifications, and experience. Occasional local travel within the National Capital Region and occasional domestic travel may be required. A full benefits package will be provided.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of new rules, dissemination of new contract clause information, the formulation of Acquisition Policy Memorandums, and promotion of understanding of policy throughout the organization.
