Position Overview: Senior Consultant (Acquisition & Procurement)
Suntiva is a market leader in providing acquisition strategy support and procurement expertise to large federal programs and organizations. We support a wide range of mission-critical programs and acquisition initiatives serving clients ranging from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to the United States Marine Corps (USMC), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
We are currently in the process of recruiting for several open positions. These positions include opportunities to work as a member of an existing team, or to become a key member of a new client team. The qualifications for these positions include:
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II / III (preferred) certification
10 to 20+ years of related work experience in federal procurement
A proven ability to:
◊ Independently perform original research to conceptualize innovative acquisition designs that optimize contractual solutions to business issues.
◊ Author contracts documents such as source selection plans, pre-solicitation documentation, negotiation memoranda, contract documents, and vendor correspondence.
◊ Interpret and tailor artifacts of DoD 5000 series program guidelines and regulations.
◊ Understand and apply all aspects of the acquisition cycle in ACAT-1 programs from basic research to production and test.
◊ Conduct research, analysis and review of acquisition issues / data calls for programs as necessary.
◊ Track issues / actions to support program requirements and PEO efforts
◊ Assist with on-going acquisition, production and integration efforts in working group meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT) sessions, process reviews and other meetings as assigned.
Position Overview: Executive Coach
Suntiva provides our executive-centered coaching services to a broad range of leaders in both the public and private sector. Our coaches work as part of a coaching team, typically on large engagements, and benefit from the professional interactions created through our team-based approach. We are currently recruiting for several open positions, to include consideration of coaches as 1099-based independent consultants. Required qualifications include:
Proven experience as a business leader, typically 10 – 20+ years management experience and/or management consulting expertise.
Graduation/Certification from an ICF-accredited coaching program (such as the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Program) strongly preferred.
Previous success in coaching for business leaders, either at very senior levels (C-Level or government SES level) or at mid-levels (Directors, VP, etc.).
A willingness to work as part of a coaching team, and to collaborate and share best practices with like-minded coaching professionals.
Locations are flexible, but particular needs exist in the Metropolitan DC area, and in Northern California (Silicon Valley/Mountain View area).
Coaching certification (PCC or MCC) from ICF preferred but not required.
Position Overview: Organization Development Consultant
Suntiva is looking for a seasoned Organization Development Consultant to join our team of energetic, dynamic, experienced, and committed professionals. This full-time position is perfect for an OD generalist interested in joining a growing, entrepreneurial, and multi-disciplinary organization where everyone wears many hats. The right candidate enjoys juggling many different types of tasks at one time and is flexible, creative, and very comfortable operating in a “start-up” mentality. The Organization Development Consultant will have the following primary responsibilities:
Organizational Performance Consulting: focused on the following list of services: organization assessment, strategy development, team effectiveness, and business process optimization;
Leadership Coaching: focused on providing developmental and performance-based coaching to mid- and senior-level leaders in the government and commercial space (desirable, but not required);
Account Management: focused on overseeing a small set of accounts and responsible for overall client satisfaction, financial management, staffing and personnel development, and general project management tasks;
Business Development: focused on developing and delivering client presentations, writing SOW’s and proposals, and enabling the growth of key accounts through excellence in client outcomes; and
Human Capital (HC) Consulting: focused on performing HC assessments, identifying HC gaps, developing appropriate HC strategies, and implementing HC strategies in association with the client (desirable, but not required).
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
◊ 7 – 12 years of Organization Development experience;
◊ 5+ years of line management experience;
◊ Advanced degree in Organization Development (OD)
◊ Coaching Certification (desired)
