Suntiva Makes Inc. 500/5000 List For 4th Straight Year
Suntiva announced that the Company has been selected for the fourth consecutive year by Inc. Magazine on its annual list of the fastest growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at a critical segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. The magazine’s exclusive ranking recognizes the privately held, for-profit companies in the United States based on their three-year revenue growth rates. According to the magazine, Suntiva and the other winning companies demonstrate the “gold standard of entrepreneurial success.” In 2011, Suntiva was recognized as the 828th fastest-growing private company in the US, the fourth consecutive year in the Top 1000 following rankings of 223 in 2010, 80 in 2009, and 170 in 2008. Suntiva Named to Future 50 Company List for 2011 by SmartCEO Magazine
Suntiva announced that the Company was selected by SmartCEO Magazine for the Washington area’s Future 50 Company list for 2011. Now in its sixth year, the award program recognizes 50 local companies based on their revenue and employee growth over a three-year period. These companies, each of which earn in excess of $10 million in annual revenue, represent the future of the region’s economy and are exemplary leaders in business. The Eighth Annual Dinner and Silent Auction for Teardrops to Rainbows was held at the Tysons Ritz Carlton on Thursday, November 4, 2010. More than 500 people turned out to raise money for local families with children battling cancer, including former governor George Allen and his wife Susan, her sister Kathy Jasien, and her husband, ING Financial Services’ Bill Jasien. The Suntiva ranking was announced at the annual banquet at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, D.C. The event celebrates the fifty companies with the highest percentage of revenue growth between 2007 and 2009, and includes 11 public firms, 39 privately held companies, and many other premier firms in the area including Human Genome Sciences, Rosetta Stone, Strayer Education, and Stanley Inc. Fairfax County Companies Dominate 2010 Inc. Magazine List of 500 Fastest Growing U.S. Businesses
Twenty-four Fairfax County companies –- most of them in technology and professional services fields –- are on Inc. magazine’s 2010 list of the 500 fastest-growing businesses in the United States. That is up from 16 in 2009. Fairfax has more firms on the 2010 list than any other county in the nation, more than any city except New York, and more than all but five states. Suntiva announced today that the Company has been selected for the third consecutive year by INC Magazine for the annual list of 500 fastest growing private companies. This year’s selection places Suntiva in an exclusive group of only 17 companies that have achieved INC 500 status in each of the previous three years. Among the companies on the 2010 INC 500 list, Suntiva ranks 223rd with a growth rate of 1,333.5 percent.
