What You Will Be Doing:

A great opportunity exists for a bright, well-organized and spirited individual to provide Organizational Change Management services to our commercial and Federal government clients.  Based in Washington, DC, in this position, you will:

  • Consult to implement organizational change across the IT implementation lifecycle: You will conduct the assessment and analysis of organizational change impacts to business, functions, systems, processes, other resources as related to IT systems change projects; support the development of "as is" current state and "to be" future state, with respect to position of the business, functions, systems, processes, other resources programs;  and identify, assess, track and mitigate organizational risks that impact business results;
  • Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement solutions: While you may not do it all, you will do some combination of the following list of services: design and conduct stakeholder assessments; develop and build stakeholder engagement plans; build relationships with all relevant stakeholder groups that support business change; and design and facilitate OCM-related events;
  • Coordinate across interdependent teams: You will support the OCM team, including training and communications resources, ensuring that communications and training resources have the information and resources required for success; and will work with Training Lead, leading/supporting the design, administration and evaluation of the training needs assessment and training strategy; managing the design, development and delivery of end-user training on IT systems change projects; and will work with the Communications Lead, monitoring the implementation of the communications strategy on IT systems change projects;
  • Manage Suntiva’s projects:  You will support project teams through the full project lifecycle including project start up, needs assessment, and solution design, development, implementation, evaluation; and serve as primary day-to-day OCM point of contact for assigned IT systems change project(s);
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Suntiva’s business: You may develop and deliver client presentations, write SOW’s and proposals, and enable the growth of key accounts by delivering high-impact results and building strong relationships with your clients. 

What You Need for this Position:

  • a minimum eight (8)years of broad Management Consulting experience with a focus on Organizational Change Management;
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering Organization Change Management and associated communications and training on IT systems change projects
  • Direct experience planning, designing and executing the following on IT systems change projects:
  • Organizational Impact Assessment
  • Stakeholder Analysis, and Engagement Plan
  • Communication Strategy and Plan Execution
  • Training Strategy and Plan Execution
  • Event Planning and Management
  • Support End-User Adoption
  • Experience with commercial or Federal government clients with the ability to identify, understand, react to and provide creative solutions to challenges within and specific to that environment;
  • Strong leadership, influencing, planning and organization, and communication skills, with the ability to proactively manage time and juggle workload across different types of tasks at one time and staying within project scope in a fast paced environment;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and detail orientation;
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and to work effectively in a matrix/project-based environment;
  • Ability to learn system/application and provide user support;
  • Certification or degree in Organization Development or other related field.

  • Change Management Practitioner (CMAP) certification or other related certifications.

What You Will Be Doing:

A great opportunity exists for a bright, well-organized and spirited individual to join our team to provide human capital consulting and project management support to government clients.  The initial focus for this person will include a training needs assessment, curriculum design, job aid design, and use case based training development.  Based in the National Capital Region, in this position, you will:

Provide instructional design and training expertise:  Prepare for and complete a training needs assessment.  Design, develop and implement setup and configuration job aides/guides.  Design and develop Use Case-based training for use across all platforms.  Create training manuals. Design and produce organization-wide communication documents.  Conduct surveys to determine training satisfaction and communicate what improvements have been made.

Consult across the human capital management lifecycle: Design, implement and evaluate strategic human capital programs and processes including: leadership development programs; workforce and succession planning; competency modeling and development; training needs assessment, design, and delivery; and employee engagement programs.

Manage Suntiva’s projects:  Lead training and human capital project teams through the full project lifecycle including project start up, needs assessment, and solution design, development, implementation and evaluation.  Develop project goals and objectives, plans, timelines; manage project finances, scope, and risk; oversee contracts and monitor performance; staff projects and manage the delivery team; monitor quality and performance; and report status and develop client relationships.

Contribute to the growth and development of Suntiva’s business: Develop and deliver client presentations, write SOW’s and proposals, and enable the growth of key accounts by delivering high-impact results and building strong relationships with your clients. 

What You Need for this Position:

  • At least 4 - 7 years of broad Management Consulting experience with a focus on delivering Training and Human Capital Management programs;
  • Significant experience (3 - 5 years) and energy around managing all aspects of human capital projects and teams;
  • Experience with Federal government clients with the ability to identify, understand, react to, and provide creative solutions to challenges;
  • Able to juggle many different types of tasks at one time;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and interface with senior level government leaders;
  • Certification or degree in Organization Development, Human Resources Management, I/O Psychology, Instructional Deign, or other related field;
  • Expertise in the entire MS Office Suite, content portals and online training tools such as Captivate
