Suntiva is looking for a seasoned Organizational Performance Consultant to join our team of energetic, dynamic, experienced, and business savvy professionals.  In addition to providing management consulting, leadership coaching, and organization development services to a wide range of clients, Suntiva provides acquisition support to Federal Government clients, and has developed a set of methodologies for applying organizational development and leadership techniques to maximize the effectiveness of these acquisition and contracting organizations.  This position is perfect for an OD generalist with significant business and change management experience and interested in joining a growing, entrepreneurial, and multi-disciplinary organization where everyone wears many hats.  The right candidate enjoys juggling many different types of tasks at one time and is flexible, creative, and very comfortable operating in a “start-up” mentality.  The ability to think big-picture, coupled with the ability to dive into the details and get the job done is key.  Most importantly, this person demonstrates exceptional commitment to Suntiva in exchange for a flexible and fun work environment, great colleagues, and a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organizational Performance Consulting:  focused on the following list of services: organization assessment, organization design, strategy development, team effectiveness, training design and delivery, human capital consulting
  • Change/Transition Management Consulting: focused on the following: changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures; creation and implementation of change/transition management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement; development and implementation of change strategies that drive quicker adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency on changes impacting employees and promoting the achievement of organization results
  • Project Management: focused on managing the delivery of projects to include cost, quality, and schedule; developing and delivering client presentations, writing SOW’s and proposals, and enabling the growth of key accounts through excellence in delivery

Basic Qualifications

The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship building capabilities, experience working in a fast paced organization during a period of rapid growth, and a proven track record of success in implementing business solutions and enhancing organizational systems and processes. This position will be based in Falls Church, VA.  Specific requirements include:

  • BS/BA degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field required
  • MS degree or certification in Organization Development or related field required
  • Minimum of six (6) years Organization Development experience, preferably in the federal and/or defense markets
  • Strong Change and Transition Management experience in support of Federal and/or Defense programs
  • Self-starter capable of bringing clarity to and taking action in ambiguous situations required
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including experience with diverse groups

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working with Federal Government clients is highly preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of line management experience preferred

  • Qualified candidates must be eligible for up to a DOD SECRET Clearance

Suntiva is looking for a seasoned Organizational Performance Consultant with specific expertise in Human Capital Management to join our team of energetic, dynamic, experienced, and business savvy professionals.  This position is perfect for an experienced consultant with broad Human Capital Management knowledge, specifically applied in the Federal government consulting environment.  This consultant must have significant business knowledge, understand the human capital challenges facing organizations today (e.g., doing more with less, mission-critical knowledge loss due to retirements, ability to fill mission-critical positions in a timely manner, developing a leadership pipeline, etc.) and be interested in joining a growing, entrepreneurial, and multi-disciplinary organization where everyone wears many hats.

  • Human Capital Management Consulting: focused on the design, implementation and evaluation of strategic human capital programs and processes covering the human capital life cycle including: human capital strategy, workforce planning, competency modeling and development; recruiting, hiring and on-boarding; succession planning; performance management; leadership and employee development; and employee engagement programs
  • Organizational Development Consulting:  focused on some combination of the following list of services: organization assessment, strategy development, team effectiveness, training design and delivery, change management, strategic communications, and business process optimization
  • Project Management/Leadership:  focused on leading project teams through the full project lifecycle including project start up, needs assessment, and solution design, development, implementation, evaluation
  • Business Development: focused on developing and delivering client presentations, writing SOW’s and proposals, and enabling the growth of key accounts through excellence in client outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong Human Capital background. The qualified candidate must also possess communication and relationship building capabilities, experience working in a fast paced organization during a period of rapid growth, and a proven track record of success in implementing business solutions and enhancing organizational systems and processes. This position will be based in Washington, DC.  Specific requirements include:

  • BS/BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or a related field required
  • A minimum eight (8) years of broad Management Consulting experience with a focus on Human Capital
  • A minimum eight (8) years of strong Human Capital Management expertise, including experience designing and delivering strategic and operational human capital management programs and processes to the federal government and general awareness of federal government human capital trends, policies and regulations
  • Qualified candidates must have skills  in at least one other Suntiva Organization Performance service such as:  organization assessment, strategy development, team effectiveness, training design and delivery, change management and business process optimization
  • Experience with Federal government clients with the ability to identify, understand, react to and provide creative solutions to challenges within and specific to that environment
  • Experience managing/leading projects and teams including the development of project goals and objective, plans, timelines, and providing quality assurance of deliverables
  • Strong Facilitation Skills and the ability to interface with senior level government leaders
  • Note:  Organization Design Skills focused on the design/redesign and implementation of organization structures including aligning strategy and structure, identifying changes to roles and responsibilities, and assessing the impacts to human capital are a plus

Additional Qualifications

  • MS Degree or Certification in Organization Development, Human Resources Management or a related field is highly preferred
