SUNTIVA RANKED AS 2nd HEALTHIEST SMALL-SIZED FIRM in Washington, DC

FALLS CHURCH, VA, September 23, 2011...Suntiva, a trusted advisor to leaders in achieving their most critical business outcomes, announced today that the company ranked by the Washington Business Journal as the 2nd Healthiest Employer among small-sized firms in Greater Washington for 2011.  The Healthiest Employers Award program recognizes the Washington region’s top 40 healthiest employers based on a wide range of factors, focused on creating a great workplace wellness program and emphasizing the importance of health.

An announcement of the event, and list of the winners, can be found on the Washington Business Journal web site.  The ranking of each finalist was announced at the Healthiest Employers awards luncheon on September 22, 2011 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC.  The awards program was an opportunity for Suntiva and other finalists to celebrate their accomplishments and find out their rankings within small, medium, and large business categories.  The Greater Washington's Healthiest Employers' special publication that accompanies the event was published in the Washington Business Journal on September 23.

The Healthiest Employers Award program was developed to recognize organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace with initiatives to promote the health and well-being of employees. Companies are selected based on the results of a free survey created by medical professionals, higher education professionals, human resource directors, non-for-profit and government communities from across the United States.  The assessment is comprised of 75 scored questions based on the following categories of workplace wellness: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, reporting and analysis.
