Five-Year Award Will Support Army’s Vision of IT Superiority

Suntiva, a leader in advanced communication, information technology and business solutions for America’s armed forces, today announced the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite (IDIQ) quantity Prime contract award to Suntiva for Program Management Support Services 3 (PMSS3).

As a PMSS3 prime contractor, Suntiva will support the Army’s goal of providing warfighting and peacekeeping soldiers with information dominance through the development, acquisition, integration and deployment of network-centric knowledge-based IT systems. Suntiva anticipates providing PEO EIS a full range of program management support in nine areas including: Project/Product Management Support, Business Process Reengineering Support, Information Systems Security Support, Contingency Planning Support, Physical Security Support, Enterprise Design, Integration, and Consolidation Support, Systems Operation and Maintenance Support, Integrated Logistics Support, and Other Services and Support.

Suntiva has significant past experience in implementing Department of Defense (DoD) and Army-wide business and IT processes, including milestone decision preparation and deliverables, Information Assurance and IT governance, Systems Engineering, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), critical systems Maintenance and Operations (M&O), and program management support.

Since 2011, Suntiva has worked on several diverse initiatives within the Army’s PEO EIS at Fort Belvoir. Suntiva experts play a key role on a range of activities from strategic planning to IT governance to program management support. “Our leadership and performance on those contracts played a big role in our selection on this current award,” adds Mr. Malik.
